| Professor Tokura is an internationally leading authority in research on materials exhibiting collective quantum phenomena such as superconductivity and topological edge channels. His exceptional record of achievement spans many areas of solid-state research. It includes the definition and exploration of new areas of investigation, the discovery of new materials and phenomena, and the promotion of their applications. In Germany, Professor Tokura will pursue spectroscopic and transport studies of novel quantum materials. |
